Job summary

CrossReach seeks a Night Support Practitioner at Millmuir Farm House near Stirling to support children and young people during the night in a therapeutic, safe environment. You will provide a calm presence, respond to incidents, and help prepare the setting for the day ahead.

Requirements include experience with children or care settings, a full manual driving licence, PVG and SSSC checks, and a commitment to CrossReach’s Christian ethos. Training and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with children, young people or in care/education settings.
• HNC in Social Care and SVQ Level 3 preferred or required.
• Full manual driving licence; PVG Scheme and SSSC registration are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a calm, consistent presence during night shifts.
• Support children and young people who wake distressed or anxious.
• Respond to incidents and manage challenging situations.
• Complete checks, records and reports accurately.
• Prepare the environment for the next day.
• Work as part of a wider team.
