Job summary

Millmuir Farm House in Gargunnock, near Stirling, is seeking a Night Support Practitioner to care for children and young people during the night. You will provide a calm presence from 10pm to 8am across three 10-hour shifts weekly, with every second weekend off.

The role requires experience with young people, independence, and a driving licence, plus PVG and SSSC eligibility. We offer training in therapeutic approaches, support with SSSC registration and ongoing development, and a range of

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, young people or within a care/education setting.
• Ability to stay calm, make decisions, and respond to situations at night.
• Willingness to work towards HNC in Social Care and SVQ Level 3; full manual driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a calm and consistent presence throughout the night.
• Support children and young people who wake distressed or anxious.
• Respond to incidents and manage challenging situations.
• Complete checks, records and reports accurately.
• Prepare the environment for the next day.
• Work as part of a wider team.
