Job summary

CrossReach’s Finniescroft Farm in Lennoxtown, Scotland, seeks a Night Support Practitioner to care for children and young people overnight within a small, homely residential setting. You will provide calm, consistent support during the night, help children settle at bedtime, and work with the team to ensure a stable, positive environment.

You should hold an HNC in Social Care and SVQ Level 3 or have equivalent experience; a full driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• HNC in Social Care and SVQ Level 3 are preferred.
• Full driving licence is essential.
• Experience in care or education is desirable but not mandatory if values align.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight reassurance, emotional support and a consistent presence for children and young people.
• Monitor wellbeing and maintain a safe, secure overnight environment.
• Record observations and key information from shifts accurately.
