Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join its nights shift team in a fast-paced FMCG environment. The role runs 4 on / 4 off from 6pm to 6am, with a market-leading salary of £53,500.

You will carry out daily maintenance, fault-find on breakdowns, log actions in the CMMS, support preventive maintenance, and ensure food safety, H&S, and quality standards while collaborating across operations to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified multi-skilled engineer with electrical and mechanical skills.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to work nights and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily maintenance of production equipment.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns with fault-finding and repair.
• Log work completed, root causes, and materials used in CMMS.
• Support planned preventative maintenance programme.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, H&S, and quality standards.
• Contribute to improvement projects and optimise machinery and processes.
• Work closely with operations and other teams to ensure smooth production.
