Job summary

NT Engineering & Manufacturing in Lanarkshire is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a permanent night shift on a 4 on 4 off pattern. You will maintain a wide range of production equipment, performing PPM and fault finding to keep downtime minimal.

On nights you’ll work independently, respond to breakdowns, log work in the CMMS, and communicate issues to the Lead Engineer and Production. Lean/CI experience would be beneficial in this fast-paced FMCG site.

Qualifications

• Qualified multi skilled engineer
• Experience in an FMCG environment, ideally including food manufacturing or processing
• A self starter who’s comfortable working independently on shift
• Lean or continuous improvement experience would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Carrying out PPM in line with the maintenance schedule
• Responding to breakdowns and fault finding, identifying root cause
• Logging all work, time and materials through the CMMS
• Communicating downtime and corrective actions to the Lead Engineer and Production
• Working to Food Safety, Health & Safety and GMP standards, with a clean as you go approach
• Spotting improvements on lines and machinery and getting involved in CI projects
