Job summary

NT Engineering & Manufacturing are recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a well established manufacturer in Lanarkshire. Permanent night shift on a 4 on 4 off pattern.

You will maintain production equipment, perform maintenance, and resolve faults on nights with minimal downtime. Adhering to GMP, food safety and H&S standards, you’ll drive continuous improvements across lines and machinery.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified multiskilled engineer.
• Experience in FMCG/food manufacturing.
• Capable of working independently on night shifts.
• Lean or continuous improvement experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform fault finding to minimise downtime.
• Log all work, time and materials in the CMMS.
• Communicate downtime and corrective actions to Lead Engineer and Production.
• Work to Food Safety, Health & Safety and GMP standards with clean as you go.
• Identify improvements on lines and machinery and contribute to CI projects.
