Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer in Leeds to support a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing operation. The role covers both electrical and mechanical maintenance on production lines, with 12-hour shifts (days and nights) on a 4-on/4-off cycle.

The ideal candidate will have strong fault finding, diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, and prior experience in FMCG or food & beverage environments.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications are desired (NVQ, HNC, 18th Edition or equivalent).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem solving.
• Experience in fast-paced FMCG or production environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults and diagnose issues.
• Rectify machinery to reduce downtime and boost production efficiency.
• Collaborate with production teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Apply health and safety regulations and maintain high standards.
