Job summary

Danish Crown UK Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for night shifts at our Bugle site. You will deliver essential planned maintenance, assist with machinery installations and diagnose faults to maximise plant uptime.

The role requires hands-on expertise in processing, packaging, drives, motors and PLCs, with a practical, self-motivated mindset. We offer a structured daytime training period before night shifts and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG environment, preferably food manufacturing.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities across processing, packaging, drives, motors and sensors.
• Structured, detail-oriented with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on maintenance across butchery, curing and sealing equipment to minimise downtime.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and machinery installations during non-production hours.
• Log maintenance activity in the CMMS and hand over shifts clearly.
• Support production, hygiene and quality teams to meet GMP/HACCP standards.
