Job summary
Greencore’s Park Royal site in London requires a Maintenance Engineer to maintain and optimise our food and drink processing and packaging assets. You’ll diagnose faults, perform repairs, and support continuous improvement to keep production running safely and efficiently.
The role involves planned and reactive maintenance in a high-volume environment, working Sunday to Thursday night shifts. You’ll work with operations to improve reliability and performance, with training and development
Qualifications
- Engineering apprenticeship with electrical bias.
- IET Wiring Regs, Level 2 Food Safety, CMMS training.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork.
- Knowledge of SHE procedures.
- Experience in fault finding and maintenance planning.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and carry out maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment.
- Conduct planned and predictive maintenance to optimise performance.
- Respond to breakdowns with repairs or corrective actions.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, automation, and pneumatic faults.
- Support teams with machine changeovers and adjustments.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements.
