Job summary

Boughey Distribution, part of NWF Group, is recruiting for driver roles at our Wardle, Nantwich site. You will work night shifts on a 5 on, 3 off pattern, delivering goods across Cheshire and surrounding areas with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

We offer weekly pay, extensive holiday entitlement and funded progression opportunities across the wider group. Applicants must hold a valid category C&E license, CPC/tachograph card, and Class 1 experience.

Qualifications

• A valid category C&E license is essential.
• Current CPC and tachograph card with a good understanding of driver hours regulations.
• Previousexperience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to handle customer queries at delivery and collaborate with Boughey on site.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift – complying with HGV driving rules.
• Ensure safe and prompt delivery of goods across Cheshire and surrounding areas.
• Maneuvering trucks into loading/unloading positions, securing loads, and assisting in the yard as required.

Due to continued growth and investment in our top of the range fleet, we are growing our driver population across our Wardle, Nantwich site working night shifts on a 5 on, 3 off shift pattern.

Day to Day

• - Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift –complying with all HGV driving rules throughout your shift to ensure there is no unnecessary damage to vehicles
• - Ensure safe and prompt delivery of goods across Cheshire and surrounding areas
• - Manoeuvring trucks into loading and unloading positions, ensuring loads are secured, provide support in the yard including handball or pump truck deliveries where required

What will you bring?

• - Excellent communication skills to be able to handle both customer queries at point of delivery and collaborate effectively with the Boughey team on site
