Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable individual to join our clients team as a Night Shift Warehouse Operative. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic working environment while ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

Shift Details

• 4-on, 4-off rotation 7:00 PM, Finish time: 7:00 AM.
• Opportunities for overtime, particularly during peak periods in February, March, and December.
• Overtime holiday coverage includes bonus payments (once permanent)

About the Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for a range of warehousing duties, including :

• Manual handling of various types of cargo, primarily perishables (Chilled, Frozen, and Ambient Temperatures).
• Operating Counter-Balance Fork Lift Trucks ranging from 1.5t to 8t (Fork Lift Licence desirable).
• Picking, packing, splitting, and sorting shipments in line with instructions and timelines.
• Loading and unloading vehicles, including vans, articulated lorries, and other visiting drivers.
• Sorting, stacking, and building aircraft pallet stocks while logging them in / out using our computer system and generating the required paperwork.
• Collaborating with the Night Shift Leader to execute nightly duties as directed by the supervisor and warehouse management.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by adhering to best housekeeping practices.
