Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a Transport Supervisor at our Hams Hall site in the UK. You will work closely with the Transport Manager to keep operations running safely, efficiently and to a high standard, acting as a key point of contact for drivers and customers.

We value detail, clear communication, and a proactive mindset. You will manage driver hours, wages, and compliance, using Excel and our Transport Management System, with opportunities for development within a global logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Transport supervision or operational experience in a busy environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English with drivers and stakeholders.
• Experience managing drivers' hours and transport legislation.

Responsibilities

• Allocate drivers to deliver operations efficiently.
• Complete driver wages and holiday administration accurately.
• Monitor driver activity and paperwork.
• Assist with agency bookings and spend, ensuring proper filing.
• Monitor driver infringements and ensure sign-off with drivers.
• Input driving time data in Excel and act on issues.
• Deliver training to drivers on electronic driver pads.
• Coordinate vehicle inspections and MOTs for compliance.
• Report vehicle defects and escalate where needed.
• Record RTAs and near misses to support safety.
• Order site fuel and monitor requirements to keep operations running.
• Collaborate with peers to improve performance and service.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
