XPO Logistics in the United Kingdom is seeking a Transport Supervisor to lead the morning transport operation, supporting drivers and the wider team to deliver excellent service. The role runs Monday 04:00-12:30 and Tuesday-Friday 05:00-13:30, with a salary of £33,000 per annum and a benefits package including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, and discounts.

You will supervise AM operations, coach clerks, shunters and drivers, plan resources, and produce daily reports to monitor KPIs

Qualifikationen

• Supervise AM transport operations to meet customer requirements.
• Coach and develop Debrief Clerks, Shunters and Drivers.
• Plan resources to cover all runs efficiently.
• Liaise with Customer Services and Planning teams to resolve issues.
• Manage Time & Attendance processes and respond to related queries.
• Raise purchase orders and support related administration processes.
• Produce daily operational and performance reports for stakeholders.
• Monitor vehicle availability and utilisation to maximise fleet efficiency.

Aufgaben

• Monitor vehicle availability and fleet utilisation.
• Liaise with Customer Services and Planning teams.
• Support investigations, return-to-work interviews and disciplinary processes where required.
• Conduct licence checks and maintain compliance standards.
• Support employee development and identify training requirements across the operation.
• Ensure effective communication across the operation and provide shift handovers.
