Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is looking for a proactive Transport Shift Manager at our Hams Hall depot to lead a busy shift for Sainsburys. You will steer safety, performance, and cost control while building a high‑performing team across days and nights on a 37.5‑hour week.

You'll own budgets, KPIs and variances, drive continuous improvement, and ensure smooth end‑of‑shift handovers with stakeholders. The role requires an International CPC and strong leadership in a transport operation.

Qualifications

• International CPC is essential.
• Proven leadership of a large transport shift.
• Experience in budgeting and KPI management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a safe, high‑performing shift and control costs.
• Coach and develop a powerhouse team with clear succession planning.
• Own the numbers: manage budgets, track KPIs, explain variances.
• Drive continuous improvement and right‑first‑time processes.
