Job summary

Grafters Recruit Ltd is seeking a Transport Administrator to join our busy transport department. You will dispatch drivers, manage fleet compliance, raise defect issues and brief/debrief drivers, while handling on-site admin in line with transport legislation and company policy.

Shifts run 8 hours, any 5 out of 7, moving to 4 on/4 off, with Nights 23:00-07:00. You will use reporting tools and work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety rules on site and accurate completion of agency

Qualifications

• Proactive and able to spot issues before they impact operations.
• Adaptable and able to stay calm to find solutions.
• Resilient and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with clear communication with stakeholders.
• Good IT skills including MS packages and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Dispatching drivers and managing fleet compliance.
• Raising defect issues and completing driver briefs.
• Completing agency questionnaires accurately.
• General transport administration in line with policy.
• Assist in day-to-day operational activities.
• Use reporting tools and monitor operational metrics.
• Ensure health and safety on site and driver awareness.
