Job summary

Orwell Housing Association is seeking a Night Relief Officer to provide an overnight presence at Wenham View and Dove Close, ensuring the building is safe, secure and well-maintained, and serving as the on-site contact for any incidents that arise during the night.

You will monitor doors, windows and communal areas, perform cleaning duties, support tenants at night, and keep accurate records of all contacts and actions. A Basic DBS check is required, and you must be eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Act as the overnight point of contact for tenants, visitors and other stakeholders.
• Help maintain security by monitoring doors, windows and communal areas.
• Carry out designated cleaning duties to keep a safe, clean environment.
• Provide support and reassurance to tenants during the night.
• Maintain accurate records of contacts, incidents and actions during each shift.
• Support a person-centred approach, treating tenants with dignity and respect.
