Job summary

Orwell Housing Association Ltd. is seeking an overnight security presence at Wenham View and Dove Close to provide a reassuring night-time presence for tenants. You will respond to incidents, ensure security, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

As the on-site contact during the night, you will document incidents and actions, while upholding a person-centred approach and tenant dignity. DBS checks apply and eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary on-site point of contact for tenants, visitors and stakeholders during overnight hours.
• Help maintain building security by monitoring doors, windows and communal areas.
• Carry out designated cleaning duties to ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
• Provide reassurance and support to tenants requiring assistance during the night.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of contacts, incidents and actions during each shift.

Join our team at Wenham View and Dove Close, providing a reassuring overnight presence for our tenants. You will help ensure the building remains safe, secure, and well-maintained, while acting as the on-site point of contact and responding appropriately to any incidents or emergencies that arise during the night. What you'll be doing:

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, visitors, and other stakeholders during overnight hours.
• Help maintain the security of the building through regular monitoring of doors, windows, and communal areas.
• Carry out designated cleaning duties to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
• Provide support, reassurance, and peace of mind to tenants who require assistance during the night.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of all contacts, incidents, and actions undertaken during each shift.
• Support a person-centred approach, treating every tenant with dignity, respect, and recognition of their individual needs.
