Job summary

Blue Triangle (Glasgow) Housing Association Limited is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide safe, secure, and supportive accommodation for people experiencing homelessness at Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow. You will deliver practical and emotional support to help individuals achieve personal outcomes in daily life.

This permanent part-time role involves 28 hours per week on a rolling rota, with some weekends.

Qualifications

• SSSC registration within 3 months of start date.
• Commitment to professional learning and CPD.
• Willingness to work towards SVQ 3.
• Experience with vulnerable people preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to provide safe, secure, supported accommodation for homeless people.
• Support, review, monitor and evaluate through our case management system to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain and update recording systems and documentation per policies and timeframes.
• Plan and facilitate key work meetings, sessions, and reviews with the person’s support plan.
• Provide advocacy and advice to help people meet occupancy conditions.
