Job summary

Blue Triangle is recruiting a Support Worker for our CB Portwell service in Hamilton. You will join a team providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for people experiencing homelessness, offering practical and emotional support to help individuals achieve personal goals.

The role involves an 8-week rolling night rota, two 20-hour-per-week positions, and requires registration with the Scottish Social Services Council after start. We offer extensive benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with vulnerable people or equivalent voluntary/professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to provide safe, secure, supported accommodation for homeless people.
• Support, review and monitor through case management to achieve positive person-centred outcomes.
• Maintain and update recording systems and documentation within required timeframes.
• Plan and facilitate key work meetings and reviews with the person’s support plan.
• Provide general advocacy and advice to enable occupancy conditions to be met.
