Job summary

Blue Triangle (Glasgow) Housing Association Limited is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Musselburgh to provide safe, supported accommodation and practical as well as emotional support for residents. The role includes working in a team, following structured care plans and contributing to person-centred outcomes.

Both full-time and part-time hours are available, with pro rata salary of £24,479 per annum.

Qualifications

• Ability to relate empathetically to people and recognise their right to choice and independence.
• Ability to work flexibly and as a lone worker.
• Ideal holder of SVQ level 2 or above and willingness to work toward SVQ 3.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to provide safe, secure, supported accommodation for people who use our services.
• Support, review, monitor and evaluate through our case management system to achieve positive person-centred outcomes.
• Maintain and update all recording systems and documentation within required timeframes.
• Plan and facilitate key work meetings and reviews in line with the support plan.
• Provide general advocacy and advice to help occupants meet occupancy conditions.
