Blue Triangle is seeking a part-time Support Worker to provide safe, supported accommodation for people experiencing homelessness at Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow. You will offer practical and emotional support, guiding residents toward personal outcomes in daily life, with a rolling rota including weekends.

The role requires passion for helping people, experience with vulnerable groups, and commitment to care standards. Training and CPD are supported.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people.
• Ideally 1 year experience with vulnerable people or challenging behaviour.
• Commitment to care practices per SSSC and national standards.
• Empathetic approach and respect for client choice and independence.
• Willingness to work flexibly and as a lone worker.
• Competent with Microsoft or equivalent applications.
• Ideally SVQ2+ and willingness to pursue SVQ3.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, secure, supported accommodation as part of a team.
• Offer practical and emotional support to achieve personal outcomes.
• Maintain and update recording systems and documentation.
• Plan and facilitate key work meetings and reviews.
• Provide advocacy and advice to enable occupancy requirements.
