Langdale Chase Hotel in Windermere is seeking a Night Supervisor to lead overnight guest services while ensuring the security and safety of the property. You will supervise a small team, manage late check-ins and early check-outs, and maintain high standards of service throughout the night.
The role requires a calm, responsible approach, excellent communication, and the ability to work on your own initiative.
Langdale Chase Hotel, which sits on the banks of beautiful Lake Windermere, has recently undergone a full and significant refurbishment and reopened its doors in November 2023. In that time the hotel has achieved 5 Star Status from the AA and been recognised in the prestigious Times Top 100 Places to Stay, ranked No.3 and North of England Hotel of the Year.
We are looking to appoint a Night Supervisor, reporting to the Guest Service Manager, to provide a five-star guest experience through the delivery of a caring and attentive service to our visiting guests, as well as ensuring the security and health & safety of the Hotel overnight.
You will have worked previously in a similar Night Supervisor role and will ideally have worked in a high quality Four-Star or Five-Star hotel.
You will be able to stay calm and responsible whilst ensuring standards are maintained at all times, providing the highest levels of guest service. You will need excellent communication skills and be confident to work on your own initiative.
If you are self-motivated and can multi-task this could be for you. You should have a history of supervising a team however personality is what really counts.
You will have the ability to work well with others to represent the Company and the hotel in a passionate, loyal, professional, and knowledgeable manner. You will have a strong work ethic, good timekeeping and the ability to multi-task whilst working in a pressurised environment.
You will be computer literate and previous experience with Rezlynx would be advantageous.
