Langdale Chase Hotel on Lake Windermere seeks a Food and Beverage Supervisor to deliver five‑star service across breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, ensuring smooth operation of the restaurant and bar.
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will lead the F&B team, train staff, coordinate with kitchen and reception, and help develop guest experiences in a premium, busy environment.
Langdale Chase Hotel, which sits on the banks of beautiful Lake Windermere, has recently undergone a full and significant refurbishment and reopened its doors in November 2023. In that time the hotel has achieved 5 Star Status from the AA and been recognised in the prestigious Times Top 100 Places to Stay, ranked No.3 and North of England Hotel of the Year.
We are looking for a Food and Beverage Supervisor, reporting to the Restaurant Manager, to deliver five-star standard service to our guests and ensure the efficient operation of the Hotel restaurant and bar, delivering the highest levels of guest experience during their dining experience. We will happily discuss flexible working options to support with personal life, including rotas to support with school drop off and pick up.
You will have worked previously in a similar Restaurant supervisory role and will ideally have worked in a high quality Four-Star or Five-Star hotel, or fine dining restaurant.
You will have a genuine passion for the food and drink industry. This is a supervisory role and therefore you will demonstrate high levels of both self-motivation and the ability to motivate, lead and develop a team.
You will have exemplary guest service skills, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with others to represent the Company and the hotel in a loyal, professional, and knowledgeable manner. You will have a strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task whilst working in a busy and pressurised environment.
You will be computer literate and previous experience working with Zonal would be beneficial. Knowledge of wines would be desirable with a level 1 or 2 WSET qualifiation advantageous.
