Bidfood UK is seeking a Warehouse Manager - Nights to lead a large-scale, multi-temperature distribution operation. You will drive safety, service, productivity and cost while aligning teams with depot leadership.

In this senior role you’ll manage Warehouse Team Managers, influence depot decisions and shape the future of the operation through coaching, data-driven improvements and strong commercial awareness. This is a high-visibility post requiring robust people leadership and budget control.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large warehouse or logistics operations.
• Experience managing managers and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to influence stakeholders.
• Experience in fast-paced distribution, logistics or supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Warehouse Team Managers and operational teams.
• Own warehouse performance across safety, service, productivity and cost.
• Manage budgets, resources and labour planning.
• Use data and KPIs to identify opportunities and drive improvement.
• Create a high-performing culture through coaching and development.
• Collaborate with Transport, Sales, Finance, HR and Depot Leadership.
• Drive compliance with health & safety, food safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Lead operational change initiatives and embed new ways of working.
• Oversee recruitment, succession planning and talent development.
• Ensure stock accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Identify risks and deliver sustainable improvements.
