Job summary

Corin in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Shift Manager to lead the night shift across warehouses, logistics and shipping. You will drive operational performance, manage stock accuracy, and develop a multi-skilled team to ensure safe, compliant and efficient distribution of materials and finished goods.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in warehouse/logistics or distribution management.
• Proven people management experience leading teams of 10+ employees.
• Strong leadership with high performance drive.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong IT literacy and ability to use data to drive decisions.
• Experience managing KPIs and workforce planning.
• Organisational and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• Ability to develop teams and create accountability.
• Ideally ILM qualification.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing Warehouse, Logistics and Shipping teams across the night shift.
• Managing staffing levels, attendance, rotas and resource planning.
• Creating a flexible and multi-skilled workforce through training and development.
• Setting objectives and coaching team members and driving performance.
• Monitoring and analysing operational data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Developing and reporting on KPIs to drive performance, control costs and support budgets.
• Managing stock control activities including stock takes, inventory accuracy and stock rotation.
• Building strong working relationships with logistics providers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensuring shipping processes remain compliant with regulations and legislation.
• Driving a strong health and safety culture, including near-miss reporting and risk reduction activities.
• Leading warehouse improvement projects and supporting cross-functional initiatives.
• Promoting and sustaining 5S principles to maintain an organised, efficient and safe working environment.
• Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with QMS, GMP and company procedures.
