Job summary

CEVA Logistics is recruiting a Night Shift Team Leader for a new bid in the East Midlands. The role involves leading frontline warehouse colleagues on a Monday–Friday 10pm–6am shift, ensuring safe, accurate and efficient inbound and outbound goods flow for a high-volume ecommerce operation.

You will report to the Night Shift Manager, coach and train new starters, monitor attendance and participate in shift handovers, with the contract running for six months.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing or logistics environments.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and support operational teams.
• Exposure to inbound or outbound operations: unload, goods-in, pick, pack, sort and dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline colleagues on the night shift to meet plans and client standards.
• Allocate tasks and manage workflow for steady throughput.
• Ensure accuracy, safety and timeliness of inbound and outbound activities.
• Provide coaching, onboarding support and participate in handovers and reporting.
• Identify inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
