CEVA Logistics in Daventry is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the Ground & Rail warehouse operation, ensuring safety, compliance and smooth daily running. You will manage a small team and oversee day-to-day activities on a Sunday to Thursday shift from 22:00 to 06:30.

You will plan workloads, monitor KPIs, coach staff and drive Lean improvements while maintaining high standards of service for customers. A proactive, hands-on approach and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a team in a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Understanding of warehouse processes, stock control, Health & Safety and KPIs.
• Hands-on, organised, able to plan workloads and support the team on the floor.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support a small team of Warehouse Operatives, keeping the team motivated and focused on daily targets.
• Own day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring safety, efficiency and high standards.
• Promote a strong safety culture; ensure procedures are followed and the warehouse remains safe and compliant.
• Plan and allocate people/resources to meet workloads and customer requirements.
• Monitor KPIs and address issues to keep performance on track.
• Deliver shift briefings, coach and support team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality and productivity across the operation.
• Assist stock control activities including cycle counts and investigating discrepancies.
• Contribute to Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficient ways of working.
