Job summary

Offering a full-time permanent contract, the position requires leadership experience in logistics, a valid UK driving licence and the ability to manage health, safety and compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and operational excellence.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the warehouse night shift operation, ensuring service and productivity targets are achieved.
• Coordinate loading, unloading and dispatch activities to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
• Provide leadership, guidance, training and support to warehouse colleagues.
• Complete operational checks, site audits and shift handovers accurately.
• Ensure health, safety and security procedures are followed, promoting a safety-first culture.
• Investigate service issues and communicate improvement recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operation during the night shift.
• Act as the main escalation point and support for the night shift team.
