Job summary

XPO Logistics in Leigh (near Manchester) is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage and oversee all warehouse processes, ensuring KPIs and targets are achieved across the operation on site. You will lead and develop the shift team, drive loading efficiency, maintain strong customer relationships on site, and ensure full compliance with H&S requirements and local procedures.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or management experience in a fast-paced warehouse operation.
• IT literacy including MS Office (Word & Excel).
• IOSH qualification required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and overseeing of the operation, ensuring shifts run effectively.
• Managing customer relationships on site and with drivers.
• Driving on-site loading efficiency and identifying improvements.
• Lead, manage and engage your team to maximise performance.
• Ensure compliance with H&S legislation and local procedures (including incident reporting).
• Provide end-of-shift handover information and feedback.
