Job summary

The Caraires Consultancy is seeking a Team Leader to support a new night shift operation in Rugby. Hours are 10pm–6am, Monday to Friday, with a fixed-term contract through Week 52.

You will lead operational processes, maintain clear communication across the site, coach teams, and drive continuous improvements in performance and safety. Candidates should have leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics setting, be agile and process-driven, and be willing to study a Level 3 qualification if

Qualifications

• Currently in a leadership role or have leadership experience.
• Experience leading and improving operational processes.
• Experience in warehouse or logistics environment.
• Willing to study for a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience driving performance in a process-driven, results-focused environment.
• Demonstrates a process-first approach with high standards and consistency.
• Agile and adaptable, able to support operational change and new initiatives.
• Communicates clearly with colleagues, peers, managers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards.
• Maintain strong cross-functional communication to support clarity and workflow.
• Coach and guide teams to develop operational practices.
• Conduct regular process reviews to assess performance and drive improvements.
• Deliver clear shift briefs to inform priorities and changes.
• Organise workflow and allocate tasks to meet service levels and targets.
• Complete process-related admin, reporting, and compliance tasks.
• Keep customer at the centre of decisions to maintain service quality.
• Drive KPI performance by monitoring efficiency and cost/service impact.
• Utilise data, trends and forecasts for short- and long-term planning.
• Oversee quality control across dispatch and sortation.
• Maintain stock accuracy and product security per procedures.
• Collaborate across departments for aligned processes and site performance.
• Champion health & safety and regular safe-working checks.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve customer outcomes.
