Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our cleaning and waste team. You will supervise equipment, cleaning practices, and chemical use in a 38.5-hour week shift pattern (7 pm–7 am, 4 on/4 off).

You’ll conduct machinery checks, report faults to the Site Manager, ensure health and safety compliance, and liaise in shift operations. Responsibilities include monitoring waste using weekly checklists, securing equipment and materials, completing ad-hoc duties,

Qualifications

• Previous supervisor experience.
• Good customer focus and service skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload effectively.
• Good organisational skills.
• Communicative English is essential.
• DBS check and drug/alcohol screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise/operate specific cleaning equipment and chemistries in a warehouse setting.
• Oversee cleaning practices and use of chemicals to guidelines.
• Carry out daily and weekly checks of machinery and report faults to the Site Manager.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance and liaise with the Site Manager on shift operations.
• Monitor waste using weekly checklists and ensure equipment/materials are secured when not in use.
• Attend training, handle customer complaints, and support in regulatory fire/safety awareness.
