Job summary

Mitie Group plc. seeks a Warehouse Supervisor in a cleaning and waste environment. You will supervise equipment, ensure safe practices, and liaise with the Site Manager on shift operations.

The role requires supervising duties, daily and weekly machinery checks, and involvement in waste monitoring. You may be asked to undertake training, manage incidents, and support ad-hoc tasks across the business.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisor experience in a similar setting.
• Good customer focus and service skills.
• Awareness of Health & Safety legislation and procedures.
• Communicative English is essential; may require language assessment.
• DBS check and drug/alcohol screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise/operate cleaning equipment and manage waste practices.
• Carry out daily/weekly machinery checks and report faults.
• Ensure health and safety guidelines are understood and followed.
• Liaise with Site Manager on shift operations and monitor waste.
• Complete cleaning duties, respond to complaints, and attend training.
