Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Cleaning and Waste Operative to work in a warehouse environment, performing general cleaning and waste duties. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided. A Basic Disclosure Check will be required and a drug/alcohol screening may be requested.

Our flexible benefits platform offers salary finance and other perks. The role is permanent with 12-hour day and 38.5-hour weeks, shift pattern 19:00 to 7:00, 4 on / 4 off.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Basic Disclosure Check required; drug/alcohol screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all areas within the warehouse, including washrooms and canteens.
• Use cleaning equipment and products; ensure equipment is clean and safe.
• Respond to client call-outs and comply with health & safety policies.
• Manage waste disposal.
