Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is hiring a Cleaning and Waste Operative to operate within a warehouse environment. You will perform general cleaning, tidying, and waste disposal across all areas including washrooms and canteens, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.

Training is provided, and a Basic Disclosure Check may be required. We offer a permanent contract with 12-hour shifts (7am–7pm), 4 on/4 off, and a pay rate of £13.38 per hour.

Qualifications

• Motivated and reliable individual sought for warehouse cleaning and waste duties.
• Willingness to work 12 hours shifts and follow health & safety policies.
• Flexibility to work as part of a team.
• Full training provided; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all areas within the warehouse, including washrooms and canteens.
• Operate cleaning equipment and products following safety standards.
• Assist with waste disposal and respond to client call-outs.
• Follow Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
