Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a motivated individual for a Cleaning and Waste Operative role in a warehouse. You will perform general cleaning tasks, maintain washrooms and canteens, and handle waste disposal while following health and safety guidelines.

Training will be provided, and a Basic Disclosure Check may be required. Working hours are 7.5 hours per day (or 35 hours per week) with a night shift pattern from 10:00 pm to 06:00 am, on a 4-on/2-off rotation.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Able to pass a Basic Disclosure Check and may undergo a drug/alcohol screening.
• Willing to work night shifts and support a warehouse cleaning/waste team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all areas within the warehouse, including washrooms and canteens.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials and products to maintain hygiene.
• Ensure equipment is clean, well maintained and safe to use.
• Manage waste disposal in accordance with health and safety policies.
