Job summary

John Lewis Partnership's Waitrose Bridport is seeking a Team Manager to lead a busy shop team and deliver outstanding partner-led customer service. The role includes managing schedules, holidays and absences while driving sales and controlling costs. Nights attract a premium, and flexible hours may be available.

The candidate will oversee day-to-day operations, maintain high availability and merchandising standards, and foster a culture of care and performance among Partners.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Ability to build high-performing teams and have regular performance conversations.
• Passion for retail with understanding of competition and retail factors.
• Ability to plan workload and adapt plans to meet deadlines and maintain relationships.
• Clear and influential communication with stakeholders at all levels.

• Ensure high availability and merchandising and maintain a secure store operation.
