John Lewis Partnership is recruiting a Store Team Leader for the Waitrose shop in Wallingford. You will help the management team drive customer service excellence and sales while leading Partners to deliver the best possible shopping experience.

The role involves coordinating online orders, stock replenishment, and everyday shop operations. A customer-facing background and strong leadership are essential for success in this busy retail environment.

Responsibilities

Support the shop's management team with managerial tasks and work with all other areas of the shop to meet customer demand.
Ensure Partners are operating in a safe and legal manner.
Fulfil online customer orders ready for our drivers to deliver their shopping direct to their doors.
Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves remain full and products are in the right place for customers.
Collaborate with the wider shop team supporting checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
Proactively drive commercial performance by suggesting improvements to operations.
Reduce wastage by following due diligence and markdowns on sell-by dates.
Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
