John Lewis Partnership is seeking a Team Leader for one of our Waitrose shops. You will lead customer service, supervise colleagues, and ensure smooth shop operations while driving sales and maintaining high standards. The role involves varied shifts across seven days, including evenings and weekends.

As a Partner-led business, we encourage initiative, safe working practices, and collaboration with the wider team. Night shift premiums apply for late hours.

Competenze

• Strong people management and leadership experience.
• Solid understanding of retail operations and how to maximise sales.
• Experience in customer-facing roles and delivering service excellence.
• Good stakeholder management with third parties and the wider Partnership.

Mansioni

• Support the shop's management with managerial tasks and work with all areas to meet customer demand.
• Ensure Partners operate in a safe and legal manner.
• Fulfil online orders for driver delivery to customers’ doors.
• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and correctly placed.
• Collaborate with the wider shop team including checkout support and Click & Collect.
• Contribute ideas to drive commercial performance and continuous improvement.
• Help reduce wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well organised shop environment.
