Sainsbury's in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lead Nightshift Manager to run a busy store overnight, alongside a team of managers, ensuring replenishment and readiness for customers at reopening.

You will plan for key trading events with the store leadership, manage pay, scheduling, training, performance, and employee relations while maintaining health and safety standards and delivering high standards and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences across complex operations
• Proven success delivering and improving KPIs
• Experience managing sensitive and complex people matters, including performance and absence
• Leadership experience in an operational retail environment
• Evidence of leading change and embedding new ways of working
• Desirable: experience working night shifts in a high-volume, overnight environment

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small team of managers overnight and deliver replenishment activities for customers
• Plan for upcoming key trading activities with store leadership
• Manage pay, scheduling, training, and employee relations (performance, absence, disciplinaries)
• Oversee overnight store operations with accountability for health and safety of all colleagues
• Own the store overnight operations and coach for high standards and efficiency
