Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a capable Nightshift Manager to lead overnight at our store, ensuring replenishment, safety, and smooth operating performance. You will oversee a small team of managers, set rosters, coach performance, and partner with the store leadership to plan for trading events.

You will drive customer satisfaction and KPI improvements, while maintaining a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for colleagues working night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Proven ability to drive KPI improvements across sales, stock availability and customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrated capability to lead change and embed new ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small team of managers overnight, delivering replenishment ready for customers.
• Plan for upcoming trading activities with store leadership.
• Manage pay, scheduling, training and employee relations stays with fairness and consistency.
• Be accountable for store overnight operations, modelling high standards and efficiency.
• Ensure health and safety of all colleagues on shift.
