Job summary

HC-One is hiring a Senior Care Assistant for night shifts. You will plan and deliver personalised care, supervise a team of Care Assistants, and work with a Registered Nurse and Care Manager to support residents’ security, dignity and independence.

Ideal candidates hold Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care and are prepared to pursue Level 3. Strong record keeping, compassion and time management are essential for success in a busy care home setting.

Qualifications

• Ideal to have Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care and willingness to progress to Level 3.
• Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of dementia.
• Strong positive energy and ability to get along with people.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement care to give residents security, dignity and independence.
• Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain high standards of care.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with residents, families and staff.
• Administer medication and support activity programs for physical and mental stimulation.
