Job summary

Bower Care Home in Linlithgow is a brand new care home offering residential, dementia, nursing and respite care in a modern, welcoming environment. You will join from the outset to help shape standards, culture and day-to-day care for residents and families.

As Senior Care Assistant you will lead a care team, oversee medication administration, monitor wellbeing and keep accurate records while ensuring high quality, person-centred care delivered with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must have SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum).
• Level 3 or willing to work toward is desirable.
• Strong communication and leadership skills required.
• Caring, compassionate and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support the care team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
• Oversee medication administration and monitor residents' wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate care records and ensure clear communication with families and professionals.
• Ensure smooth running of each shift and high standard of care.
