Job summary

Bower Care Home in Linlithgow, United Kingdom, is hiring a Senior Care Assistant to join a brand new care home from the outset. You will help shape standards, culture and day-to-day care, supporting colleagues and delivering high-quality, person-centred support to residents.

Responsibilities include guiding the care team, overseeing medication, monitoring wellbeing and maintaining accurate care records, with a hands-on approach and clear communication with families and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum), Level 3 desirable.
• Medication administration training with competency is essential.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Oversee medication administration and monitor residents’ wellbeing.
