Job summary

Boclair Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, in Glasgow, is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead and support the care team in delivering person-centred, high-quality care to residents. You will supervise shifts, handle medication administration, monitor wellbeing, maintain accurate records and liaise with families and healthcare professionals to ensure safe, consistent care 24/7.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £14.50 for 44 hours per week, with PVG paid, pension, uniform

Qualifications

• Requires SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care at minimum.
• Medication administration training with competency is essential.
• Experience leading or supporting a care team is beneficial.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Caring, compassionate and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support the care team to deliver safe, person-centred care.
• Oversee shifts to ensure care is organized, consistent and of high standard.
• Maintain accurate care records and liaise with families and healthcare professionals.
