Job summary

Belleaire Care Home in Greenock, operated by Meallmore Ltd, is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support the Registered Nurse and lead the care team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You will supervise staff, ensure accurate records, and maintain a safe and compassionate environment for residents.

The role requires SVQ Level 3 or higher and SSSC registration within the appropriate timeframe, with opportunities for development and a supportive pathway within our care home network.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior care role is essential.
• Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within the required timeframe.
• Demonstrates compassion, leadership, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate residents' care needs with the team.
• Maintain accurate care records, care plans, and resident reviews.
• Administer medications in line with policy and guidance.
• Foster a positive, compliant, and safe workplace for residents and staff.
