Job summary
Myton Food Group, part of Morrisons, is hiring a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to keep our production lines running smoothly across our UK manufacturing sites. You will inspect, repair and optimize conveyors, pumps and packaging equipment, while coordinating with external specialists when needed.
You will report to the Site Engineering Manager, perform preventive maintenance, and drive improvements to reduce downtime and boost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in FMCG maintenance environments.
- Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills.
- Proactive approach to equipment reliability.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns and perform repairs.
- Carry out machine adjustments and changeovers to support production.
- Monitor and calibrate equipment to meet quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to drive process improvements.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies.
