Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for our manufacturing site in the UK. The role focuses on maintaining, repairing and improving machinery to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.

It is a hands-on, shift-based position with strong technical problem-solving requirements. Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, you will perform preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and collaborate with production teams to drive improvements and ensure safety and quality

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in FMCG environments.
Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment, identifying potential issues before disruptions.
Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns, diagnose and repair or coordinate with specialists.
Carry out machine adjustments and changeovers to support production efficiency.
Monitor and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy, quality and safety standards.
Collaborate with production teams to identify process improvements and boost productivity.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, schedules and spare parts.
