Job summary

Myton Food Group is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to keep our production line running smoothly at our Hebden Green site. You will oversee maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of machinery to maximize uptime and efficiency, working in a hands-on engineering role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Role requires NVQ 3 or equivalent, strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, and effective problem-solving with a proactive approach to safety and quality

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in FMCG.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery.
• Good communication and decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose breakdowns and repair or coordinate with specialists.
• Adjust machines and changeovers to support efficiency.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and parts.
• Ensure health and safety compliance.
