Job summary

Tesco is hiring a Night Shift Lead in Greater London to oversee store operations during night hours. You will lead a team to ensure excellent customer service, manage tasks across departments, and adapt to changing store needs.

Night shifts include a higher pay premium and minimum guaranteed hours. As a shift lead, you will be the visible leader on the floor, coaching colleagues, handling escalations, and ensuring a safe, efficient night-time operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong service orientation and customer focus.
• Clear communicator with the ability to guide a team.
• Natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team to deliver a great in-store experience for customers.
• Work across all store areas and with colleagues to handle day-to-day queries.
• Coach teammates, give feedback and role-model excellent service.
• Lead the store in the Manager's absence when required.
• Make balanced decisions and adapt to change.
