Job summary

Lineage is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver for our Heywood depot. Shift available Monday to Friday, nights starting around 15:00–19:00. £16.03 per hour up to 39 hours plus £55 weekly night shift allowance. Overtime over 39 hours paid at time and a half.

Role includes trunking, multi-drop deliveries, and strict adherence to drivers' hours regulations. Requires C+E licence, valid DigiTacho and CPC, and English communication.

Qualifications

• Must have a C+E driving licence and valid DigiTacho and CPC.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience is essential.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner.
• Ensure vehicle is legal and roadworthy; complete daily checks.
• Load checks and secure goods before moving the vehicle.
• Obtain signatures and paperwork from customers on delivery.
